The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research- PGIMER Chandigarh has released the notification announcing the recruitment for the 2025- it includes the 151 vacancies for positions including Senior Residents- Junior or Senior Demonstrators and Senior Medical Officers. The application process for- PGIMER Recruitment 2025 is online and an important factor in the recruitment- Candidates need to follow the steps below to make their application process successful:

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates applying for these 151 vacancies need to meet the certain eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:

1. Candidate must be the citizen of- India.
2. Candidate should be 45 years of age- age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories.
3. Candidate’s qualification must be:

• For Senior Residents: A postgraduate degree in certain specialty.
• For Senior Medical Officer: MD or MS in Medicine or Surgery.
• For Senior Demonstrator- Medical: MD or MS in the concerned subject.
• For Senior Demonstrator in- Non-Medical: M.SC with a Ph.D. in the concerned subject.
• For- Junior Demonstrator: M.SC in the concerned subject.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be in two stages which are:

1. Computer based test: It includes 50 questions along with- 75 maximum marks and 50 minutes of time.
2. Interview and assessment: Candidates who are selected will be called for the- interview and assessment which will include almost 25 marks.

Salary details:

The salary structure is:

• Senior- Resident Officer: 
• They will have ₹67,700/- including Non-Practicing Allowance per month.
• Senior- Demonstrator- Medical:
•  They will also have ₹67,700/- along with NPA per month.
• Senior- Demonstrator- Non-Medical: 
• They will have ₹56,100/- per month.
• Junior- Demonstrator: 
• They will have ₹35,400/ – with NPA for medical and without for non-medical per month.
